In trying to match our movie titles with those in the database, many titles include a colon. Since colons are not allowed in filenames, what should I use instead? ie Paul Blart: Mall Cop I can't use the : and just leaving a space doesn't bring up the correct information. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi TerBear62,
Leaving our the colon in your search should work fine. It certainly does on TMDb:

If it's not in the program you're using, I would contact the developer of it to see why since it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for your reply Travis. I realized it was something with MediaBrowser. After much experimentation.... ie Paul Blart Mall Cop Paul Blart - Mall Cop Paul Blart.Mall Cop etc. I finally found what works, and by works I mean that I finally got the cover photo and the description, was to leave out anything beyond the ":" and add the date. By naming the file Paul Blart 2009 it came up perfectly. So I wanted to reply in case there are any other MediaBrowser users with the same frustrations and I also wanted to take the opportunity to say how much our family loves TMDb. :-)
