In following movies posters, the thumbnails are not shown in WD Player at all.
I found the posters sizes for these movies all quite large (over 1054x1000). Can any experts fix this problem?

Hi tianliu,
As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with any of those images, they seem to work fine elsewhere (browser, XBMC, Plex) for example.
It's probably best for you to contact Western Digital about this issue.

Did you try to figure it out why all other posters work fine with WD, but not those posters? Did you try to test deleting one of those posters, then upload different one to see what happpen? If you give me the unlock/delete right to try, I will figure it out for you! I wonder WD company even care about this. Thanks.

Beyond verifying they are JPEG's like every other file and that they open fine in other apps, no. There is nothing discernibly different with them.
Unless there's a legitimately different image, our system will always use the original one that got uploaded. Image ids are built based on the MD5 of the actual file.
Only moderators have these permissions.
Perhaps but it seems like a bug with their software so it's not something we're going to spend much time on.

If there is a bug in WD's software, why does WD player work for almost all other posters, but not these seveal ones? These several posters must be different from others, right? If you can tell the real difference between these seveal posters from others, you probably can solve the problem yourself. For example, if it is because the posters size are too big, WD software probably can not download so big poster to shrink to small size as thumbnail into WD players, but you can limit the poster size to fit to all commercial players, especially the popular player like WD. Am I too unreasonable?

These posters are actually a little bit smaller than most. The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Avatar and Iron Man for example.
As I've stated, there is no difference I can tell between these and any others which only leaves Western Digital to blame. You should contact their support to see if this is a known issue and whether or not they can fix it.
