?? search of "B.O.B.'s Big Break (2009)" does not work. But the movie is in the database as "B.O.B.'s Big Break (2009)" ??
http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=B.O.B.%27s+Big+Break
"B.O.B.'s Big Break" (without the year) works.

Sounds like the same issue Chris2922 was talking about here: http://www.themoviedb.org/talk/520a61f219c2957f3f01d9cb
To search with a year on the website you need to use the
y:XXXX
notation.http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=+B.O.B.%27s+Big+Break+y%3A2009
Ie. B.O.B.'s Big Break y:2009
Cheers.

Hi Travis.
Thanks for the reply. I know now what NOT to enter in the search box. And hopefully this won't affect the rescans in XBMC.
I posted this because I was trying out PLEX, and that movie did not pick up. Most other movies named exectly the same way, with the year in brackets, did pick up in the scan.
Confused, because B.O.B. also did not pick up on TMDB. I see now that SOME movies don't pick up anymore with the year in brackets.
As Chris said, this colon character could be a potential problem for Windows users, as the character is not supported in file names.
Leo..

There's two things to remember.
?year=
parameter. I'm not sure if they do this or not but you can ask. They're pretty good about updating and fixing these kinds of things.
