The Movie Database Support

Is now_showing determined off just US release date of anything in the DB? e.g. at the moment, it is showing Riddick: Blindsided. Which is a 6min long slide show, pretty much. It doesn't have a cinema release. (Internet release only.)

Hi Adi,

It's determined off of any release date added within present ➞ 3 weeks ago. Our DB has no way to distinguish theatrical releases vs. DVD releases, vs. festivals, vs. anything else right now. One day this will change but it's actually a pretty big change to the way w handle release information and is not on my immediate list of things to work on.

Understood! Thanks!
