I'm creating an app that will use a lot of data from TMDb. The idea is to have a bunch of data from TMDb related with some data of my app (users, votes, lists, etc...). However, in your Terms you mention this:
Cache any TMDb metadata or photos other than for reasonable periods in order to provide your service.
IMO, it's kinda impossible to make a good app if we need to request the API every time, further when all the data are related, it would become a sluggish app.
So, what you mean with reasonable periods? Is there a way that we can store the data in our side (beyond give the attribution to the TMDb)?
Thanks.

Hi Andriel,
There isn't a defined time period for "reasonable" per-say. I've always said whatever makes sense for your application is fine. The biggest idea this part of the terms attempts to address is the fact that you acknowledge that the data is never yours. Should we ever request you to remove it, you are bound to do so. We have never done this even once In 5 years but it's a protection that we needed. Especially around illegal P2P apps that have been known to use TMDb in the past.
