Just noticed that the trailer marked on the English version of "The Wolverine" as HD was a bunch of crap. So I've changed it to the official trailer released by 20 century fox. However when I checked the logs I noticed that this piece of crap was posted by someone by replacing a good version.
So my question, is there a mechanic to report said user to possibly prevent this in the future?

Hi Zippie,
There isn't an automatic way but if you let us know the user we will contact he or she about this.
Thanks.

Hi Zippie,
Thanks. I'll make sure we're watching him to see if he makes any other bad edits.

2 years after the last response but... Maybe the editions should be accepted by a bunch of other users. I found that movie https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/32122-the-devil-s-playground was edited by "louna13". That user changed the ADULT property to true, but the movie is not X-rated. If you check all the edits of that user, some other movies where changed in the same way...
By the way, I edited back movie ID 32122, the site got the change, but the API didn't
Cheers.

Hi dpgover,
The API can have up to a 24 hour delay. It depends when the cache expires.
Unfortunately, this is just part of doing business when you run a public database 😉 Ask Wikipedia about it, heh. We try to be pro-active about locking fields but can't get to every field, all the time. It's more something we do as these problem show up.
You're free to change back any mistakes you find. You can also post a new thread in the "Content Issues" forum and one of our content moderators can help you out. They have the ability to lock fields as well to help prevent issues on those items in the future.

Excellent!
Should I paste my message of the changes made but that user in that thread?

It's probably easiest to create a new thread in the content issues forum, ya.
Cheers.
