The Movie Database Support

Hi! I wonder if there's an established policy on spoilers, particularly in plot keywords? It would be interesting to be able to search on plot types such as "secret identity" or "surprise ending." For some films, it could also be a major spoiler for someone just browsing the film's page who doesn't want that level of detail. Has this come up before?

I don't think there is an established policy and it could be an issue if too many spoilers were entered as keywords. It's an interesting discussion for sure.

On a related note, I always correct overviews containing spoilers.

Hi oscarmatic,

No, I don't think this has come up before. I'm not sure how many movies have a keyword that could be regarded as a spoiler.

How about spoilers in fanart? I can't think of any examples right now, though I've seen plenty of screenshots used that show pivotal unexpected moments in a movie.
