Showing API stats gets counted as API request

Hello,
I took a look at my api stats and wondered why there was an request for today. After refreshing the page i realized that every refresh of my api stats counts the number of request up by one.
Is this behaviour intended?

Hi raketenhund ,
Yes. If you look at the source, you'll see you are actually making an API call with you API key. Hence it counting towards your count.
