Why do the rifftrax live movies keep getting deleted they are not just the alternate audio track like regular rifftrax. They are full dvd releases with close to 30min added to their run time with new content and skits. They are close to Mystery Science Theater

I guess they got deleted by accident, during cleaning up the other Rifftrax. You should put something like "live" or"live dvd" in the title.

Same question. Why are these being deleted when they have their own IMDB entry and are completely separate from the original titles? Can we lock them in any way so they stop being deleted?

Also, the four 'The Film Crew' entries were deleted which again, are completely separate from the original movies, are packaged and sold separately and have their own imdb ID.

Hi, I didn't see this thread before.
The reason they are being deleted, by me, is that there is not enough new content to consider them new movies and currently we do not support different cuts of movies. As long as the original movie is the main part of the broadcast this is a no go. Sorry for the confusion.
(For example, I find it extremely hard to believe that the latest Starship Troopers live event was a video of the guys talking without footage from the movie. The trailer features only clips from the movie with their commentary.)
Also, the fact that they were added to IMDB is not relevant in this case.

I understand the concept with not supporting different cuts of a film: Theatrical vs. Directors or a fan super-cut etc. However, I still feel that these merit their own entries (and that the regular voice-commentary RiffTrax do not). The RiffTrax Live events typically contain ~30-40 minutes of non-feature-movie footage where they do skits, show other shorts and talk to the live audience. Even during the main film about 30% of the time we see the three RiffTrax gentlemen to the right side of the screen and sometimes they show the actual stage and the film together etc. (for an example see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQdMcAuT3-E )
If you still feel that they should not be added, I will respect that. I do plan on adding any new RiffTrax Live events to TMDB just so I can import them into Letterboxd (as I did today with Starship Troopers). I would be more than happy to notify you directly once I have done so so you can then delete the entry as getting it into Letterboxd is my main goal.
Kind Regards.

Yes, I did investigate this thoroughly and as you point out the movie is always the center piece of the show. So for me this is a no. It's perhaps possible that some other mod may object but then we will discuss it internally before opening up.
I'm not sure how Letterboxd view these. For some content they are much stricter than us, for other content we are stricter. My guess is they will be OK, at least the ones that are not part of any television series. (For TV-content they are much stricter than TMDb.)
Yes, this is fine with me. Just post here and it will be sorted (assuming there is no other development in this matter). Thanks.

Which I've imported into Letterboxd. Thank you.
