Still having the issue this morning. Our relevant code is listed below, it should show currently playing movies. However, we instead get the message that says Sorry, there are no currently released movies available. Thanks

$MovieString    =   '';
    if(count($CurrentMovieList))
    {
        foreach($CurrentMovieList as $MovieInfo)
        {
            $MovieName          =   $MovieInfo['name'];
            $APIMovieID         =   $MovieInfo['id'];
            $MovieOverview      =   $MovieInfo['overview'];
            $ReleaseDate        =   date("F d, Y",strtotime($MovieInfo['released']));
            $MovieScheduleObj   =   new Movie_Schedule();
            #$MovieImage        =   $MovieScheduleObj->GetMoviePosterImage($APIMovieID,'thumb');
            $MovieImage         =   $MovieScheduleObj->GetTopRatedPoster($APIMovieID,'thumb');
            $EditMovieInfoLink  =   'http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/'.$APIMovieID;
            #echo "
".print_r($MovieInfo,"/n")."
"; $CheckExists = MovieExists($APIMovieID); $MovieString .= '
'.wp_nonce_field("movie_add","add_action").'
'.$MovieName.'
Release Date: '.$ReleaseDate.'
'.$MovieOverview.'
'; if(MovieExists($APIMovieID)) { $MovieString .= 'Movie Already Exists.'; } else { $MovieString .= ''; } $MovieString .= '
      '; } } else { $MovieString .= ' Sorry, there are no currently released movies available. '; } echo $MovieString;

The function getcurrentmovie leads to:

function GetCurrentMovieList($Title='', $ReleaseMinDate='-1 months', $ReleaseMaxDate='+1 months', $PageNumber=1, $Limit=2000)
    {
        $ReleaseMinDate =   strtotime($ReleaseMinDate);
        #echo '
'; #echo date("d m Y",$ReleaseMinDate); #echo '
';echo '
'; $ReleaseMaxDate = strtotime($ReleaseMaxDate); #echo '
'; #echo date("d m Y",$ReleaseMaxDate); #echo '
';echo '
'; $OtherParams = array('page'=>$PageNumber, 'per_page'=>$Limit, 'release_min'=> $ReleaseMinDate, 'release_max'=> $ReleaseMaxDate); $xml_movie_result = $this->TMDBJSONObj->browseMovies('release', 'asc', $OtherParams); #echo "
".print_r($xml_movie_result,"/n")."
"; $JDecode = array(); $JDecode = json_decode($xml_movie_result,TRUE); if(!is_array($JDecode[0])) { $JDecode = array(); } #echo count($JDecode); #echo "
".print_r($JDecode,"/n")."
"; return $JDecode; }

If you need more info please let me know and I can get our dev involved

We use the TMDb-PHP-API

What's the actual query you're submitting to the API? I don't see that in the code above.

travis, i edited my reply above with more code that may help. thanks

Ok, I think you're actually calling the /2.1/Movie.browse method. Which is not related to the issues described in this thread.

I'll have to see why 2.1 has stopped returning any results but I should mention that 2.1 has been EOL'd and given a firm shut down date of September 15. You're going to need to update your app before then or it will cease functioning all together.

We have re-created the "2.1 Movie.browse" method in v3. It's called discover, and that is the method you will have to migrate this feature to.

Yes, we are using 2.1 still, and evaluating our program to upgrade it to 3 per your email a week or 2 ago. We will be upgrading to 3 this summer.

Hey Phil,

This should resume working for you shortly.

Indeed it does work now, thank you!
