Any method in tmdb api 3 similar to Media.getInfo from v2?

Hi Forum. I am new :), and I was wondering if there was any way of retrieving movie info on a file, and not by id or searching by title? I believe it was possible in v2 using Media.getInfo (http://api.themoviedb.org/2.1/methods/Media.getInfo), anything similar to this in v3 ?

We don't support those methods any more (and haven't for over a year even on 2.1). We have no plans on bringing it back to life on v3 at this moment.

okay thanks. I'll try to figure out something. And thanks for a great api you guys, it has brought alot of nice stuff out there for our amusements :)
