excuse the naivety, but how do i download a data set of all movies of lets say the last 10 years, i do have the api key, just not sure how to use it to generate results

I can't really speak to that. I do not maintain the DB or the API. For my purposes it got me what I needed. I think it yielded approximately 1700 titles, and 25,000 people.
