Hi there!
I haven't been using TMDB for a long time, however I can already see a few things that would be great to see improved. Here is a short list:
- Add a "Want to watch" (or whatever sounds best) button next to "Favorite" and "Watchlist" to add the movie to a default list of movies we want to watch, a feature I believe many people would like to use.
- Add the name of the director when seeing lists in compact view (like "top rated" or "popular movies"). This is important information, I would say nearly more important than the list of a few actors you can already see. There even is some space available between the stats and the genre.
- Improve the rating system: it is unclear, after voting, if what we see is the overall rating or our own rating of the movie. Once the user has voted, I think the overall rating should stay, and an extra "you voted xx" should be added on the side, in brackets.
What do you guys think? Is there anything planned already? Is there a better place to suggest these changes?
Cheers!

Hi chtfn,
How is this different than the existing "Watchlist" feature? Once you click the little popcorn bucket icon these movies will show up in your account under "Personal Watchlist".
Perhaps. I'm always playing with the design.
After you rate a movie we do throw up the success message, and on a reload/previous movie you've rated we do already show the "you rated…" message. This seems sufficient to me.

Hi Travis
Thanks for you reply!
Sorry about the confusion, I hadn't been using the database for long so there are a few things that I did not notice / did not understand.
I now understand that the "watchlist" is made to add movies we want to watch. I thought it was the list of movies we already watched. I guess the list of watched movies is the list of rated movies. Maybe rename this list "Watched movies"?
I didn't notice either that you had to refresh a page to see iformation about the rating.
Cheers!
