Make sure you read our terms of use. While we allow caching of the data locally, it is important that your realize the data is never yours. Attribution is always required and you are not allowed to resell or re-distribute the data.

I would like to know how large the entire movie database

We currently have around 108,000 movies and 460,000 people.

and if possible what database program do you use?

TMDb is built on top of MongoDB.
