Misspellings of Movie Titles

Hello-
This may or may not be something that you can help me with but I was wondering, is there any way to return alternative movie titles that are misnamed? For example, I was searching for "The Crow 2" which is technically named "The Crow City of Angels". With searching for The Crow 2, I don't receive any results. Anyone have any ideas for a work around? I also searched for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow but searched for Sky Captan and the etc etc and it also came up with no results. I thought of spell checking movie names but movies have obscure names. Take gothika. lol. I was using brand X (...imdb) and it tried to catch some of these issues.
Any ideas?

Well, not exactly. I'm almost talking about returning results from a search term that is not spelled exactly or movies with similar possible titles. Like the example I used, if I search for the crow 2, tmdb should return the crow city of angels. I thought alternative titles had the info I need but that is alternative titles for a specific movie id. I almost would like to be able to search those alternative titles too. Although this is really two different issues, one for alternative titles, one for slightly misspelled items.

OK, forget the Crow 2 part. Searching for Crow 2 does return The Crow City of Angels, my program just thinks Larry Crowe is a better match. However, misspelled names don't return a result.
Any other coders have any ideas? Right now, if I receive no results, I ask the user for a different spelling or name (ie., The Crow 2 to City of Angels. Amazing, the movie that I keep using was so bad... lol)
Any ideas?
