Aspect ratio was apparently being considered for addition already about a year ago: http://help.themoviedb.org/discussions/questions/31-aspect-ratios. Any update on this?
As someone who appreciates the technical nuances of film, I would love to see these fields added. Although both can be determined by reading the metadata embedded in video files, there are times when encodings are messed up and must be corrected, where it would be helpful to know what the original is supposed to be. It's also useful to have just as trivia, in case a movie is playing on TV and you want to know if it has been cropped/stretched by the broadcasting company. And with titles like “The Hobbit” now being shot in 48 fps, it is no longer safe to assume that every movie will run at 24 (or 25).

Aspect ratio is still something we're considering (ticket #41). Frame rate is not something I had previously thought about.
Over the next little while I'm going to be spending some time re-working the edit pages and functionality on TMDb and when I'm doing this I can think about adding these fields. Keep in mind, we'll start with an empty database for this data and it will likely take a while for it to fill in.
With regards to an ETA though, you very likely won't see anything for another month or so.

Metadata usually does not get aspect ratios right but lumps everything wider than 16:9 together with 16:9. Good to hear that this will be included!

Hi Cruzader1986,
No, there is not. I'd still like to eventually get to this but there is many more pressing items so something like tends to be low on my priority list.
Cheers guys.
