Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to search for movies by release date. This way i could look for the movies of a certain week or month.

Hi Vincent,
There is no such way at this time. I've attached a ticket that is relevant to this idea, but it is not on my immediate list of things to add.

Is it then possible to give a search query that matches all titles? That way you could get all movies of a certain year.
For example: http://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=$api_key&query=*&language=all&year=2012
would get all movies of the year 2012

Whatever gets created for ticket #87, would allow something like this but again, it's not something I have planned for the next few months.
