So I was reading on why you decided on separating all the movies that basically make up The Avengers Imitative Phase 1. Collections should be made for sequels, OK I get it, so with that being said why is both the Hulk and Incredible Hulk separated? From my understanding Incredible Hulk is a sequel/reboot so I would think they would be a collection. Isn't that correct?

I believe Wikipedia mentioned that despite The Incredible Hulk story having continuity with the Ang Lee's Hulk, it was in fact a reboot, not a true sequel. In the guidelines that travisbell seemed to approve, I explained why reboots do not belong in a collection with the predecessor film or series.

I agree with dashyw0n. I think Hulk and Incredible Hulk should be a collection! When you search 'Hulk 2' on imdb you get 'The Incredible Hulk'... it is a sequel/reboot...

Hulk 2 was merely a working title on IMDB. It is not an official alternate title or an indicator of the film's relationship to The Hulk. Based on what I read, the producer says the relationship to The Hulk is "uncertain". The director of the film compared The Incredible Hulk reboot to Batman Begins and stated his film would start a new franchise. What I gather is, they wanted to revive the Hulk character because they did not like Ang Lee's version, and they did not want to rehash another origin story only several years after the last film. Hence they start their story line after an origin story would have occurred, but the film is not a sequel. It's a reboot.
