The Vampire Chronicles coming to TV!

No page up for the Vampire Chronicles yet, so I'll post it here. Anne Rice herself announced that she had regained the rights and was planning to adapt the novels for television alongside her son, Christopher Rice.

I really hope this turns out to be a Game of Thrones style production! I just hope they get the casting right.

Love the vampires of Anne Rice ! Her writing is beautiful, and her characters are vivid and alive - even though they're dead! Their interconnecting stories are enthralling. Do hope that TV does them justice..... And as NotoriousRio said - Hope they get the casting right, because it all depends on that !

It'll be interesting seeing Interview with a Vampire from Lestat's viewpoint, the series begins in the 18th century, so I expects lots of flashbacks involving Akasha, Marius, Armand etc.
Theres no official title yet, I prefer The Vampire Chronicles over The Vampire Lestat, though from the video Ann Rice seemed to like having Lestat in the title.
