RIP (1978-2020). Killed in helicopter crash.

Despite that I don't at all follow sports, I know that Kobe Bryant is hugely famous and that this will be a tremendous loss to his fans and the sports world.
Tragically, also his 13-year-old daughter Gianna "Gigi" and seven others were killed in the fiery helicopter crash.

I don't follow sports at all myself, but I would like to say RIP Kobe and Gianna, as well as to the 7 others who perished yesterday.

Yes, very sad to hear about the loss of Kobe among the nine whose untimely passings shock the realm of sports (which I also don't follow, but understand that he has appeared in numerous commercials, as well).
My sympathies for this very sad period of mourning.
