I think that a V is easier to make than a D. I don't think the D should be hard 24/7. It would be like a dildo attach to a robot.

Actually that's not a bad idea. It should have a little tank in his belly. There should be a tiny door behind the scrotum, so you can take it out to clean it and fill it up.
