So Trump won.
I bet the 75+M Americans who voted for Trump are grunting and singing like the singer in the start of this song.

The Democrats must let goooooooooooooooooooooooooo! of the past.
This time is different!
Let's hope it is. Or all the singing and head-banging I'm doing right now would be for nothing.

It takes a mad man to deal with all this madness.
Everybody has the right to live their truth/reality. But nobody should be forced to be part of someone else's reality, when it doesn't align with the true reality. Your reality then becomes fiction.
Rules are made to make people's life easier and to prevent chaos. Nobody should be constantly wasting time wondering what pronoun to use. Nobody should be wasting memory space remembering what each person identifies as.
Imagine your in a convo with six pp and each one want to deviate from the rule. Man1 is she/her, woman1 is he/his, man2 is they/their, woman2 is it/they (she ID as a cat), man3 is it/they (he ID as a tree), woman3 is they/their but refers to herself as we/us (she ID as a group).
It's not disrespect, but who has the time for all that? Is just not handy if everybody deviates from the rule. And you can’t say yes to some and no to others.
When you're dealing with humans, what you see counts as the true reality. Most of the time, when you see someone, your brain automatically knows which pronoun to use. You don't have to do any thinking. When you see one man, you’ll address him with he/his, not they/their or she/her or it/they.

Why do some think they can demand that others remember what pronoun they prefer?

Selfish pp who think that they are the only ones others have to deal with.

If you ID as a cat or tree, you shouldn't talk or behave as a human. The tree should be in a garden, park etc. The cat should wander about, chase pigeons, lie around etc.

So they want to ID as something that isn't human, but they continue to behave like humans.

Then what's the point of ID'ing as those things?
