“Wonder Woman unwittingly gives up her powers when she wishes Steve Trevor back. She can solely use her lasso of truth. She gradually loses her strength as it becomes more difficult for her to fight and at one point Steve becomes her ‘protector’.”

If true, this won’t go over well with a certain crowd, one comment points out:

“Yeah even if Patty did come up with it, I can just hear all the ‘Why does she have to give up powers for a man’ even though we all know most male heroes would do it for the one they love ala Superman.”

“Diana and Barbara Minerva fight twice. Barbara wins the first round while in human form, benefited greatly by Diana’s weakening capabilities and when Diana gets her abilities back, Barbara turns into the Cheetah.”

“Diana uses her Golden Armor as a last resort against Cheetah and it gets destroyed.”

“Maxwell Lord is more of a tragic villain as opposed to a bad guy. He also has a romantic arc with Barbara which some might end up having mixed feelings about.”

Some say that TW doesn’t cast GOT actors. So that comment made some fans think that ND is dating HC and that he wants her to be cast. lol

I think so. But a few days ago ND’s people confirmed the casting rumor wasn’t true. That’s possibly a reason to believe she was there for HC, even though she wasn’t seen with him, as far as I know.

Alleged Black Adam Plot Leaks Explain Involvement of Isis and the Justice Society of America

“Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) is a slave chosen by the Council of Wizards to become their champion. His wife Shiruta is murdered, and he attempts to use the Amulet of Isis to revive her. The Council of Wizards attempts to stop him, because Isis is dangerous. Black Adam is influenced by the Seven Deadly Sins to kill them before the wizard Shazam exiles him to a magic tomb.”

Shiruta was the name of Adam’s first wife in the comics and she did die in Ancient Egypt. Adam named the capital of Kahndaq after her when he conquered it. Isis became his second wife.

The Justice Society of America – what Dwayne Johnson promised his film would bring to us – enter the picture at this point.

“The Justice Society of America assembles to stop Black Adam. Their leader is Carter Hall, the reincarnation of the Egyptian winged warrior Hawkman, and they are formed by Kendra Saunders, the reincarnation of the winged warrior Hawkgirl; Courtney Whitmore, a young inventor who wields a cosmic staff; Al Rothstein, an atomic-powered vigilante; and Kent Nelson, the human host of the powerful sorcerer. The fragments of the Amulet of Isis are in India, China and the Tower of Fate, a “multiversal nexus” accessible through New York City.”

“Black Adam reassembles the Amulet of Isis and returns to Kahndaq to perform the ritual and revives Shiruta. The JSA confronts them. Shiruta is driven insane by the power of Isis and attempts to wipe out humanity for corrupting the world. Black Adam joins forces with the JSA to defend Kahndaq, but in order to stop Isis, Black Adam is forced to destroy the Amulet of Isis, losing Shiruta once again. The people of Kahndaq embrace Black Adam as their protector, and he becomes the ruler of the country, with Adrianna by his side. Hawkman decides to give Black Adam an opportunity to redeem himself.”

The post ends there and makes no mention of Cyclone, Red Tornado, or vintage Green Lantern and Flash. If they are in it, they might not play much of a role. Hawkman and Isis appear to be greater assets to the story which kind of echoes Wonder Woman 1984 and that film’s wishing stone.

We all refused to go because holding a premiere mere weeks after 9/11 with the city still smoking felt like the most insensitive, tone deaf, disrespectful idea possible. But Harvey insisted. The shock made me burst into tears. I managed to get myself and my child out of there and yes that was one of many experiences I had that there was no recourse for, and falls under no felony. But I WAS punished for it, and for other instances where I said no to him for years, insidiously and seeming irreversibly. Hearing that he has gone to prison for 23 years is a huge relief to me on behalf of all the women he sexually assaulted or raped, and I hope will be a deterrent to that sort of behavior in this and any other industry.

Having said that, the crimes that are not crimes, the inhumane bullying and sick covert abuse for which there is STILL no recourse no matter who you tell (and I did tell), these too need to go. I hope and pray that we as an industry can start to actually outlaw all abuses of power and expose them and eliminate them, for all genders, forever. And Rose, brava

That’s really funny bc none of the current heroes remained in love with a woman for almost seven decades after she died. You shouldn’t attach yourself to anything or anyone like that. Our heroine shouldn't send that kind of message. Women are already depicted as the feeble gender or the one that should be fully naked. Let’s break that tradition. MCU did it with CM, BW and Peggy Carter (PC).

CM and BW aren’t attached to anybody. BW had a little thing with CA and then Hulk. CA moved on with Sharon Carter after PC died. PC moved on and got married when CA was declared MIA. WW, a woman who thought men were tools, a woman who's almost a goddess, is the one who can't move on. And she’s so crazy in love that she doesn’t even care about the price of the wish. She wishes ST back and unwittingly gives up her powers.

And as much as I detest the SM & LL love story, I wouldn’t mind if SM wittingly gave up his powers to save LL or to wish her back to life shortly after her death. Maybe a few years but not almost seven decades.

I was shocked HW got 20+3 years. I thought he’d get only five. But what’s even more shocking is that none of the heroines wrote anything about this “victory”. HW started #me2 and the judge imposed a high sentence to make an example of him.

Henry Cavill Could Return As Superman For Space Jam 2

Space Jam 2 is turning out to have an even bigger scope than we thought.

LeBron James stepping into Michael Jordan’s shoes to play basketball with Bug Bunny and co. However, leaked images have confirmed that the movie will dig deeper into Warner Bros.’ catalogue of iconic characters than just the Looney Tunes.

Leaked pics that have been circulating online reveal that a bunch of supervillains have a surprise cameo in the film, with the group including the Wicked Witch of the West, Bill Skarsgard’s Pennywise from IT, Jim Carrey’s the Mask and even the Joker.

In fact, according to sources close to WGTC – the same ones who told us about Carrey and Skarsgard‘s cameos in Space Jam 2, both of which are now confirmed thanks to those aforementioned leaked photos – not only is WB hoping to get Robert Pattinson on board the project as Batman as well, just for a quick cameo, but Superman could swoop by, too. And the hope is that they can get Henry Cavill back in the tights.

*‘Spider-Man 3’ Rumor May Reveal Film’s Title And Villain *

According to a post on 4Chan (so take it with an iceberg of salt), the film will be titled Spider-Man: Home Run, the villain will be Kraven the Hunter and Marvel are eyeing either Henry Cavill or Jason Momoa for the part.

Now, the third entry in the MCU Spider-Man trilogy is indeed getting ready to shoot. According to Tom Holland, production will begin in Atlanta this July (Coronavirus permitting), which means we can assume that elements like a title and villain are already locked in, and Marvel Studios is currently casting the film.

But how likely is this to be true? Well, first up, Spider-Man: Home Run makes sense as a title. It continues the ‘Home’ theme (Homecoming and Far From Home) and alludes to the fact that Spider-Man is going to be on the run after he was framed for murder at the end of the last film.

That plot-line also means that Kraven the Hunter would work as an antagonist. After all, if New York City has decided that Spidey is a menace that needs to be stopped, maybe they would turn to a high-profile hunter famed for tracking the most dangerous game? 

But Henry Cavill or Jason Momoa for the part? I just can’t see it. Henry Cavill is deep in production for The Witcher season 2 (though that may wrap by the summer) and Jason Momoa is too associated with the DCEU to make it work.

I don’t detest them. SM should have someone. I just dislike how the love story is written. LL should fall in love with CK, but ZS let her fall in love with SM. How do I know she loves the man and not the fact that he’s a powerful being? When someone poor dates someone with money, some will scream gold digger. When an A-lister is with a C-lister, some will scream the C-lister is using the A-lister to further a certain career.

And then SM will have to keep rescuing LL. Who rescued her before she met SM? Bad people are always using her to get to SM. She’s a tool that uncreative writers use to give SM something to do… an easy way to create action.
