BTW, I think HC’s trying to impress me. He knows his future wife will be a chemist. Hence, the partnership with Muscle Tech. He wants to have something interesting we can talk about. We can’t live a life of him telling me which muscle he just trained and what game level he’s about to reach and me telling him what I bought with his credit card and where I went with his Ducati bike.

We are in lockdown here the UK so I'm using my once a day outdoor exercise to go for my first jog since my hamstring injury! (More on that another time). It wasn't fast, and it certainly was far, but it has been a major step in my recovery, and my first step to getting back into the groove after a Christmas that may have involved more than a few cups of mulled wine, and an exceptionally fat Turkey.

Monday to Friday I'm up at 0430 to get a few hours rehab in before my work day starts. Some mornings are rough, but I do always get to see the dawn by the time I'm finishing up. The snow made this one even more enjoyable, if not a touch chilly!

Why oh why am I wearing a warm hat indoors?...I'm not going to tell you. This may cause you undue stress. Luckily the ancient Incas are said to have used the herb, Lemon Verbena, as way of relieving tension and stress. And now that I'm stressed because you're stressed and it's my fault...which doubles the stress....I'm going to double down on the chill out and mix my Lemon Verbena Water with tequila. HC was looking for an excuse to drink on a Friday. lol As long as he doesn’t make it a habit. We don’t want to hear him b*tching about how many people drink in the film industry and that some come drunk to work as a way to justify that he lacks balls and will power like Ben Affleck to control how much he drinks.

Happy Lunar New Year! This year is the year of the Ox, hopefully signifying onward movement from last year. For my friends over in The East, It may be time to start that new onward movement. STRONG MIND, STRONG BODY. HENRY CAVILL’S SECRET TO OVERCOMING PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ROADBLOCKS

When it comes to training there is nothing easier than making excuses for ourselves. We all do it. I’ve been doing it of late too. For me it was being run down before Christmas, dealing with a hamstring tear over that holiday period, and now “have no time” because of work and physiotherapy taking up all my time. Some excuses have a base in validity (which can make them even more dangerous) Other times it’s because I’ve been afraid of how far I’ve fallen from when I was training hard.

If you’ll excuse the rather specific pronouns, this applies to us all. 0430 is very early to get up and go to the gym, for a run, swim or bike. I know it, I feel it and yeah, I’d absolutely rather not do it, but I have to right now. It’s an essential part of my physiotherapy and if I want to heal properly and be able to perform and train hard again in the future without reinjury, I have to just get up and get out there. Now, you might say, “but now you have a reason to get up at 0430”. You’re right, but it’s still a choice, and beyond that it’s my choice to try to beat my top speed every Monday morning too.

My other option is to coast through it. 0430 AM sucks, right up until you’re getting going, then the fun can start. Mental fortitude, inner strength….these things are not easy, but they are accessible for us all regardless of our level of experience in all things physical. You don’t have to be a pro athlete to get up in the morning and get going. Not only that, but I promise you, you will feel better afterwards. Add to that some diet discipline and sprinkle of excitement when you start to see the shift in not only your body, but your outlook as well, then you start to really feel that sense of self, that sense of personal pleasure through hard work and the magnificent rewards that it reaps.

You don’t have to do the workout that will cause the gods to quail in fear. You just need to get up and move. You’ll find that you’ll actually want to push harder the more you do it. Inner strength is available, you just have to reach out for it. I reached for it myself this past weekend, I got into my gym and finally did an upper body workout. I organised myself, planned, and made sure I got in there. No excuses. You have to conquer yourself, even if it means on a daily basis. Then, then you can mould yourself into the physical specimen that you want to be.  So get in there, out there, get up or get to bed early. It’s yours for the taking. Let’s do this, you and I. Let’s redefine strength together.

Henry Cavill teases 'secret project' that might involve Mass Effect

Famed actor, PC gamer, and sexy system builder Henry Cavill may soon be going to space—virtually, at least. The actor posted an image on Instagram earlier today with the cryptic message, "Secret project? Or just a handful of paper with random words on it.... Guess you'll have to wait and see."

The image is extremely blurry, but Gamepressure discovered that if you run it through Focus Magic and fiddle with the settings, you can extract some very meaningful words from that visible bit of text, including "Cerberus," "Tali'Zorah," and "Geth"—not the sort of language you're likely to see outside of the Mass Effect universe.

It could be a hint that something is cooking—perhaps Cavill is lining up to take a role in the next Mass Effect game, which we know is in development, or maybe a new spin-off series on Netflix—or it might be nothing more than Henry having some fun with fans because he knows we're watching. I've emailed EA and BioWare to ask about what's going on, but we probably just have to wait and see.

Mass Effect Project Teased by Henry Cavill

Henry Cavill, who has already brought Geralt to life in Netflix's The Witcher, has just teased that he may be working on a project set in the Mass Effect universe.

Included with the image was part of what appears to be a script or a "handful of paper with random words on it," but it is too blurry to clearly make out what is on the page.

GamePressure used a program called Focus Magic to remove the blur, and the clearer image reveals such words as Cerberus, Tali'Zorah, and Geth. IGN has also used Focus Magic to fix the image and can confirm these words do appear, as you can see below.

Fans of the Mass Effect franchise will immediately know that these are words and characters pulled right from that beloved trilogy. Furthermore, it appears that the text Cavill has shown us comes directly from Mass Effect 3's Wikipedia page.

A possible Mass Effect movie has been in the works as far back as the late 2000s. In 2010, Legendary Pictures acquired the movie rights to the franchise and was set to feature the producers behind The Dark Knight and Spider-Man. There have been more rumors as the years have went on, but nothing too substantial has come since then.

This could be a hint that Cavill may soon be taking on the role of Commander Shepard or another character in either a film or TV adaptation. It's also possible he could be lending his voice to a game project or otherwise.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is set to be released on May 13, 2021, and BioWare has announced that a brand-new Mass Effect game is in "early production."

The art is beautiful, but the cut on his forehead is too big and too fresh. The one near his eye is cool.
