Body Language -- Is it Love or a Dud?

I'll start it off since there is no pm ability to make special requests. Anyway, let's look at this first shot of them together at Wimbledon.
Spoiler: This body language reading is going to be an easy one. 
Judging from HC's downward cast eyes, he isn't looking forward to this date, and his attention is not focused in the same direction as Lucy. Lucy has a closed stance and does not appear comfortable.
As well she shouldn't with that K-Mart blue light special! 
Okay, I digress -- back to business and keeping the attention on the subjects. . .
Lucy's shoulders are a see-saw with one side raised higher than those overly arched brows of hers. This poor, working, broad shows tension in her face, and that's probably why her mouth is open as a release. Still, mouth breathing is not a good look.
Judging HC's dapper attire and Lucy's rolled out of bed get-up, they aren't communicating. Seriously, my friend is having a birthday party, and I called her up to find out what type of clothes to wear. With that said, this chick should know that you wear your Sunday best for Wimbledon.
Anyway... I said this was easy and it is.

In this case, Frenie appears to be interested in HC or the conversation Generally, a tilted head shows interest and may as well be a flirt signal. If HC had tilted his head, the feeling would have been mutual.

Just hold hands the first day to ignore you later? My inner gossip girl needs to know when the fight was 🤣. Because she wasn’t in Poland, or Ireland... or the water private thing.
Edit: and the fact that she wasn’t in the water party, which was HIS thing, for me it’s she is history.

Well, it's definitely an old pic.
This is one pic that they seem to be in synch. Feet and gaze are all in the same direction. Of course, HC has the tight jaw for tension and the never-showing teeth look going. The chick seems to have the no smile look too.
The hand holding:
It doesn't seem as if HC is tightly squeezing her hand to show dominance, but he is leading her in this arena. It appears to be a reassurance of safety -- like I got you because I'm not new to this.
With that said, let's look at the distance.
Is there a gap?
Yes. It looks as if there is about a foot of space between the two, so they are not encroaching on each other's personal space. If they were, that would mean they are very comfortable with each other. So, just because a couple holds hands doesn't mean they are close. Their shoulders aren't brushing. It's more of a -- show -- of intimacy as opposed to an actual act of intimacy.

In one of the many instagram accounts that posted this photo, someone said that it was taken at breakfast the first day in Manila (the day that supposedly HC spend sleeping)... before all that passive aggressive display... of course just gossip... but I’ll put all my money that this was the day it all fall apart. Or at least was the drop that overthrew the glass 😂😂.
I look the way they’re holding hands. The position of her hand is anatomically neutral, but not in the same direction as HC hand (that’s also anatomically neutral). So, linked fingers are in that position really uncomfortable to hold for a long time in her case, because she would have to forced her fingers into a twisted position. And that is basic biomechanics of the human body. It’s like he is not helping much to keep that hold.
Edit: in that position and considering that she is smaller than he, just a regular hold is more confortable. Because the other option is that she is holding his fist and that’s just wrong (I can’t see clearly when zooming). On the other hand, to all the people who said that he was cold to protect her... we can see that HC didn’t have any problem with showing intimacy before with her. This just, like wisely Poetist said, didn’t blossom.
You can see the back of the bodyguard head walking in front of them. He feels confortable following him.

Hmmm... reasons HC stays in the closet???
Personally, I think he's holding on to getting that call that says he's Supes again or 007. Since he's not the world's best actor, he hangs his hat on what has been working for him -- his looks and muscles. Plus, the adoration that he's available to women will keep some buzz around his name. In terms of the male fans, he has to appear masculine, even though gay men are masculine too, it helps to be seen like an everyday guy, who likes sports and a pint.
Of course, these are old tactics in Hollywood. A lot of the big older names in Hollywood still adhere to them: Tom Cruise, Travolta, Hugh Jackman, and etc.

Yep, there was someone who even posted on DL that he was seen walking around with at least two bfs. Those poor beards, though.... Sometimes, I think he has bottled up anger for being in the closet. It would explain why he renigged on taking Tara to the Oscars and shouting out that Frenie isn't his gf.
