Because people were calling him out on it. He was lying about the pic, when it was taken and the story he gave was very strange. Wouldnt surprise me this was staged by his team.

Look at the above discussion, we are talking about this pic.

Also, I need to correct, that pic was not take Oct 1st, but 9/24. The game is University of Utah v Arizona State. Played 9/24.

So the poster is lying about him being in NY at the time. This pic was taken the same timeframe as the 'dinner out' pics were. Then posted in Oct, for some reason.

Dang, I lost my post, so this will have to be quick.

HC with his hand across his chest serves as a barrier. Either he doesn't feel comfortable, wants to create some distance, or both. He even awkwardly leans on the bar to create space. It's giving me that "let me take your order" stance.

If this were romantic, he would be closer or hover over her. Standing with your hand over your chest is a negative signal. It's not even a comfortable position to have while talking to someone. It's a protective and very negative move.

Next, he stands to create separation as opposed to being level (seated) with her and showing some level of comfort. There is a chair right next to him, but he doesn't choose to sit. He stands in that "let me take your order" pose.

The woman's fingers are too spread out to be romantic. I think this was a quick brush across the chest, or she is delivering a message.

Plus, there is no body signal that HC is giving that makes me see that this is a romantic encounter. If it were, he wouldn't be blocking her with his arm across his chest. He would move in closer, get comfortable, and might even have a seat.

@Poetist And we get to have 'live' micro body language or expressions on the face and hands, and even though I haven't watched the WHOLE thing, but I fastforwarded to a personal questionabout Kal (starting 33:30) ::

and there is just this ONE moment when he is taking the question in and hearing the audience cheer, where his face got weird like... _ "shit here we go" _ uncomfortable even if it's about Kal? (exact mark 33:48) 4/5 seconds of it!! I was even starting to brace myself like he was going to deliver a bad news about him? (??? or is it just me?) he seemed tired or...? At the beginning he sounds and looks to me weirdly blasé/tired/apathetic compared to a more animated face talking about figurines etc;

and well he did insert VEEEEEEERY swiftly, like literally sweeping and dismissing it under a rug and throwing it out there like it's nothing him NOT BEING SINGLE gasp so here we have it for the blasé part? (exact mark 34:18)

I really thought that as a sensitive guarded man, finding "love" AT LAST, he would be private but wouldn't help but gush about a person that is alleged very present in and rocked his life for the better, more so than his mom!!!

As usual, everything is out of sync. Their feet, gaze, and head positions. They try to close the gap on the top regions of their bodies, but body language doesn't lie! The lower regions expose a big wide divide. It's an intimate area. People who aren't intimate with each other leave gaps. Plus, Nat has her ankles crossed, which is another sign

Now, Nat's pose might be trying to present a glamor pose, but she is doing it wrong. This pose is used to create the illusion of having longer legs. There is no need for her to pose this way since she is a good height. You turn at an angle and you can't be square to the camera. She is square and she is closing off her neither regions by crossing her ankles.

That along with the gap between her and HC demonstrates there is nothing happening between these two.

This is the pose that HC and Nat were trying to create. Notice that Will has no gap and both are looking in the same direction. We know these two were intimate.

Though, their feet are not pointing in the same direction, their toes touch

On the second pic, they show teeth. Nat looks as if she has a genuine smile. HC barely cracks a smile. Can't read much from just faces... need the whole body.
