Wow, Knowing Stephen, he's a straight shooter, so now he wasn't joking. He told it like it is. He said HC is a bad actor, boring, and I think he said he doesn't know how to dress.
I think Stephen spread the hate and said he didn't like the movie (Immortals) either.

Well, other actors that worked with him only say that he is nice and good looking, so maybe Stephen just said what others are thinking but are too nice to say so.
I hope those new movies may show that he is a good actor.

Is there some sort of prescribed period wherein an actor is obliged not to talk badly about a movie he starred in, but after that period he can talk whatever, wherever?
If you google any of Stephen Dorff's comments about The Immortals, he was commenting on how great the sets were, how he liked working with Freida PInto, etc., and now he's saying it's the most boring movie he's made. Back in 2011 he mentioned how "HC kept to himself", that he didn't know HC too well, now in this interview he says he "hates HC", he's not a good actor or dresser...
Either he was "drunk" during in this interview or the gag order was lifted -- LOL!
Toni: Either he was "drunk" during in this interview or the gag order was lifted -- LOL!
I vote for the latter. Dorph has always been this way. I love reading his interviews. I read his interviews, and I can't even recall a movie he's be in, w/the exception of Immortals.
Here's what he says in one old interview:
Sensitive or not, Dorff certainly has rooted opinions about Young Hollywood and his peers, and probably has some legitimate complaints about what hot-new-things are grabbing the good roles, even if they are lukewarm at best. "You see so many people who are just kind of a bland face that walks off the screen and people go, 'There's a movie star.' In the 'young' category, there aren't many people who are very good. Some people have it, some people just don't."
Okay, let's talk about who, besides Stephen Dorff, has it and who doesn't. Ethan Hawke? "I wasn't with CAA, but I got The Power of One over all the fucking Ethan Hawkes and Sean Astins. It's the actor that gets the job. Big agencies, hype--that's all whack." Emilio Estevez, with whom he did Judgment Night? "I accept him for what he is," he says, with a shrug. "He's got this personality people like. Whatever. I made that movie because my agents at ICM were saying I needed to do something big and commercial; nothing else was going on and I needed to make some money. I didn't play all that bullshit that everybody else in it was playing. It was so simple and stupid, I could have phoned in the fucker." Chris O'Donnell? "A good actor who brought a natural, 'Golly gee,' wide-eyed thing to Scent of a Woman, but I sure don't jump out of my seat when I watch him. And, for this article, I don't want to do boring photos like he did for Movieline." Juliette Lewis, whom I tell him I like, but just wish she'd quit twitching and eating her hair? "I've seen Juliette Lewis too many times. I like her natural ability to perform, but what is that, man, with her hair?
Toni: Either he was "drunk" during in this interview or the gag order was lifted -- LOL!

Well, he's consistent... And kind of comes off like an arrogant pr!ck. LOL!
I wonder did her ever read or even joined in anyone of these other actors' IMDB discussion boards? I mean him criticising HC for his "dressing skills", sounds like he had read one of the discussions about him.
Hmmm I wonder what really happened between those two when filming Immortals. Cuz "hate" is not a word that just tumbles out of your mouth unknowingly. I saw pic of Henry hanging out with other castmates (i.e Luke Evans and Joseph Morgan), so it wasn't as though he kept to himself throughout the filming. But then Luke seemed pretty chummy with Stephen. I think he even accompanied him to a fashion shoot or something like that.
I'm also sensing a bit of bitterness considering the careers of who he's dissing his. I mean we can debate about where Henry's career is going but no one's denying the fact that he has a franchise on his resume is not too shabby. All I remember of Dorff is that Britney Spears video and some e cigarette commercial.
@ToniTurnyne yeah it does seem like a kind of statute of limitations for this kind of thing. It's like when Halle Berry can gush over Catwoman during promotion but then joke about it at the Razzies.
Hmmm I wonder what really happened between those two when filming Immortals. Cuz "hate" is not a word that just tumbles out of your mouth unknowingly.
I don't think he said he hated HC as in the actual sense of the word. What Stephen has said and some other actors are that HC keeps to himself on the set. Needless to say, I don't think happened between those two, since Dorph is known to be salty.
I saw pic of Henry hanging out with other castmates (i.e Luke Evans and Joseph Morgan), so it wasn't as though he kept to himself throughout the filming.
HC did keep to himself. He only hung out with LE and tagged along with other castmates if LE was present. When LE arrived to set, HC was there and been there for 7 weeks. When LE asked HC what is there to do around town, he didn't know, so they explored the town together. Plus, for some reason Tarsem (director) paried LE and HC together to do workouts, since HC was working out just w/trainers and the extras.
Stephen refused to work out. I don't know why the Twilight guy didn't work out w/HC. I do know that once LE arrived on set that he wanted to leave and was on the phone w/his agent. I think HC, who had a brief meeting w/LE in London prior to Immortals, talked LE off the ledge. I think that's why they bonded.
But then Luke seemed pretty chummy with Stephen. I think he even accompanied him to a fashion shoot or something like that.
LE is chummy w/everyone, and Stephen said LE was a cool dude. I don't think Stephen shared his true feelings about HC while he was hanging w/LE, though, and hence that is why they hung out at the fashion show.
However, Stephen has always said that HC said very little to him on set, even when they had a scene together.
Also to me anyway HC's butt looked a lot smaller in that movie, he had something like 2% bodyfat so you could see every muscle in his body. So maybe Dorph has been checking his out if he also know HC has no fashion sense.

I think Cavill being a bad actor is not news.

Henry isn't the best actor out there but neither is SD. I say keep it classy man. He sounded bitterly jealous. Oh by the way, hey IMDb peeps!

Stephen Dorff is just talking stuff, because HC has a better career than he does. He can also get women without trying.
