Can play just about any role. For the longest time I didn't realize that was him playing Smiley the gang banger in Training Day. I thought they found some Vato on the streets to play that role he was that convincing. His dialect was spot on

Agree completely !! His most amazing transformation was in The Dark Horse, a New Zealand made film, where he played a genius Maori chess player called Genesis Potini. (true story). He gained a lot of weight, and was almost unrecognisable, - He was brilliant, and if anyone just remembers him from Fear The Walking Dead, please take a look at this film. You will be gobsmacked!
