As a child actor she appeared in movies like "E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)", "Firestarter (1984)" and "Cat's Eye (1985)". Being an actor at such a young age was not easy and she almost succumbed to the pitfalls of stardom, that so many child actors go through. She was able to overcome all the adversities and challenges to become the successful actress she now is. She has won many awards and she will go even further: the sky will not be her limit.

Drew is an actress and a personality I've always tremendously liked.
Besides her many t.v. talk show appearances, I mainly have seen her earlier years movies (none of her recent work) and greatly enjoyed her in each thing.
I found Drew very interesting and insightful when she was co-host, a few or so years ago, of Turner Classic Movie's (TCM's) ever-excellent "The Essentials" great films showcase series.
