In the popular 1978 TV movie 'Rainbow'. Andrea McArdle played Judy as a young girl in this ( the biography is just about Judy between ages 10 and like 16). I wonder if Piper's part in this was based on a mistaken rumor about her. That she had starred with Judy in the 1938 film'Everybody Sing'. It was about school girls and a girl who very much appears to be teenage Piper Laurie is one of the students along with Garland. But Miss. Laurie was only around 5 when this movie was shot so it obviously is not her! I do not know if Piper ever even met the real JG.
