Ha, ive heard the arguments for Fifty, sounds like he would be perfect....anything Superhero. thats my vote!

Would love to see Matt in a romantic film, the obvious & long awaited Superhero role, something edgy like The talented Mr Ripley, or a remake of The Truman show, an angel like Brad Pitt played in Meet Joe Black. I have so many!

I'm glad he didn't do Fifty Shades. It's trash imo & sureshot career killer. Altho I can see why Matt was a fan favorite seeing that the hero is described as the most beautiful man ever "epitome of male beauty" or something like that.

I can easily see Matt in a remake of American Gigolo, Theorem (60s Italian movie) handsome drifter seduces the maid, son, mother, daughter and father of a wealthy family - maybe transpose that to Trump's Texas?. Also a lot of classic 60s Alain Delon, who Matt has name as an inspiration before, Le SamouraI etc., Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard. Roman Holiday, a very old movies but nothing modern immediately suggests Matt to me. Call Me By Your Name, would have been a provocative choice and Matt's a little old for the Armie Hammer role but maybe that's what Matt's career needs.
Fifty Shades was a bullet avoided, I'm surprised Dakota has done well on the back of it and not surprised it's done nothing for Jamie Dornan, an actor I'd admired prior to that for his brilliance in The Fall.

OMG Andrew, I was thinking the same thing! I remember reading an interview Matt did awhile back saying American Gigolo was one of his favorite movies. This movie is one of my personal favorite guilty pleasures movie! Albeit the title, the movie had many good elements to it: drama, suspense, beautiful looking people, great cinematography, and clothes. I think he could bring more of a depthness to the Julian character that Richard Gere at times lacked. I could totally see Matt seducing beautiful people, speaking 5 different languages, and then becoming a fugitive for a murder he didn't commit! And just imagine all the great Armani clothes we would see Matt wearing! Forget 50 Shades...I want to see Matt in American Gigolo!!!

You guys have picked some great choices. I can see Matt doing justice to anyone of those. I really want Matt in a love story next. One of my all time favorites, is the fantastical Ladyhawke. It satisfies my need for Matt in a fairy tale too. He would just slay as Captain Etienne.

Also would love him in a remake of Our Man Flint; suave, sexy and dangerous would fit him like a glove. Any PAUL Newman roles, especially Cat on a Hot Tin Roof or The Long Hot Summer. I'd also like a music themed romance like The Fabulous Baker Boys. Oh, I could go on🤗

Loving your ideas guys There is a YouTube vid asking him about Nightwing & he seems really keen. Definitely a villain role would suit him too. Love him in a costume, a music related role - Hamilton please? Some agent type like Bryce Larkin with loads of action. Guess we could go on & on!
