Looks like a Sci fi movie. Matt plays a charater called Ross Craine per imdb. The movie is already in post production. Actor Ansel Angort is the lead. Sounds like a supporting role or a cameo for Matt. Premise sounds intriguing, kinda like Matrix. Wish Matt was playing the lead role. Btw I couldn't stand this young actor Ansel Angort in that chick flick movie with Shailene Woodley, had to sit through it because of my teen daughter ugh!

Ah yes, the fault in our stars. I also watched it due to my teen daughter. He didn't bother me but I he didn't blow me over either.
Interesting how this just popped up post production and never a word of it. I wonder if Matt is strictly in the daily video and never had any scenes with others - something to fill in between projects.

Now if Matt had some scenes with Patricia Clarkson (she should have a VERY good 2017) I can see the attraction, otherwise a supporting role from an unknown filmmaker (3 shorts in 20 years & nothing else) which would appear to make use of Matt's name recognition but offer Matt little in return...

This is a surprise, but have to agree & wonder if it's a small support role of some kind :( Of course Matt anywhere is good but so frustrating he can't get decent roles. Why are film-makers wasting his talent.... & that face??!!
I guess for now he's tied up with TLT?

I'm surprised too to hear about this new movie, flying below the radar. Matt's fans are so good at sussing out even the tiniest bit of news about his projects. Sadly, I agree it sounds like another glorified cameo. I think Matt will have to continue to pursue projects outside mainstream Hollywood as long as they embrace casting decisions based solely on how much box office they think they can generate. Apparently, discrimination sells. I think Indie films like Moonlight are the future here for actors like Matt as well as his project TLT on Amazon. I think even though his path is harder, his talents will continue to find outlets.
