Biography

Joe Crabtree is a writer, director and producer working in film and theatre. After leaving school, he worked in construction before solo travelling around the world. Highlights include staying on an ex-rodeo champion’s ranch in Southern Idaho, catching huge waves on a desolate beach on the pacific coast of Mexico, and being chased down a beach by a stampeding cow in North Goa, India. Since returning to the UK, he has had a passion for telling exciting stories through the visual medium of film. His films have been shown at festivals on four continents and he is currently developing two short films, ‘The Men and The Bath' and 'Authenticity for Sale'. Besides film, Joe loves dancing to Northern Soul music, following Middlesbrough F.C., and slow-cooking food.
