Biography

He is a historian, cultural manager, and filmmaker. He studied Ancient History at the Sorbonne, Paris 1, and the Ecole Practique des hautes Etudes, and Film at the Sorbonne, Paris 1. After earning a degree in film, he enrolled in the film directing program at the prestigious FAMU Film and Television School in Prague, where he was a student of director Vera Chytilová, earning a Master's degree. He later moved to Peru, where he resumed his scientific research on divination in ancient civilizations. In 2018, he obtained his PhD in Assyriology from the University of West Brest, France, with his thesis "Comparative Studies of Extispicine Divination in the Paleo-Babylonian and Inca Periods." He is a senior lecturer at the UNMSM, and has served as a lecturer at the Pacific University, the University of Creativity of Latin America - UCAL, the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru - PUCP, and the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences - UPC. Since 2008. As a Cultural Manager, he has organized the Central and Eastern European Film Festival AL ESTE in Lima since 2008, in which personalities such as the Polish Pawel Pawlikowski (Oscar 2015) and the Hungarian Bela Tarr (Palme d'Or, 2007), among several world-renowned personalities, have participated as guests of honor. In 2015 he was awarded the Bene Merito medal by the Polish Embassy for his actions in promoting cultural exchange between Poland and Peru.
