Biography

Rick Olvera is thrilled and honored to be working on a project with an important message with the power to change lives and influence culture. He earned a BFA in Theatre from Sam Houston State University and has often acted professionally since. His on-camera credits include commercials for Academy Sports, Houston’s Voice, Fiesta and University Federal Credit Union, as well as a co-star role on NBC’s “Chase”. Rick has previously been featured in various plays in the Houston area with the Houston Shakespeare Festival, Texas Repertory Theatre, Main Street Youth Theatre and The Alley Theatre ECE program.

Rick was previously a youth/teen instructor with Next Level Acting Studios and has recently returned to teach adult improv workshops.
