Biography

Dimitra Nikitea was born in 1999 in Athens and has been performing stand-up comedy since she was 18 years old. She has participated in all domestic comedy festivals: Athens, Crete, Alexandroupoli, Tripoli, and in 2019 she travelled with three other comedians to Zurich. In May of 2022, she toured Europe with Ira Katsouda, going to 10 cities with the show "We Also Brought Oil". In 2023 she presented her first comedy monologue, a stand-up comedy show under the title "Drowning", at the Alkmeni Theatre and the Nous Theatre. She has collaborated with Netwix and Lifo Podcast. She is the co-creator of the podcast "Bright Side", published by Provocateur, which qualified for the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in the Podcast category and won a platinum and a gold award at the Digital Media Awards.
