Nika Zhukova is a Russian-Dominican animation film director and visual artist. She holds a fine arts and illustration degree from Chavon la Escuela de Diseño and a BA in animation from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, where she specialized in stop motion techniques.

Nika's distinctive storytelling and artistic vision are showcased in her acclaimed short films, including "the Body" (2021), "Us" (2022), and the award-winning "Heart Hug" (2023), which garnered the best animated short film award at the Jerusalem film festival 2024. Her work has been featured in numerous international festivals and exhibitions, including the Monstra animation festival of Lisbon, Fest Anca, and Lago Film Fest, among others.
