Marriage Story is not quite one of Laura Dern’s very finest performances but she is excellent in the film, and it’s a true supporting role unlike some recent winners. A fine actress and a great lady - so happy for her. Very good speech, too, with a lovely tribute to her parents Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd.
