F for Fake is for a while on my "to watch" list. I kind got hampered in my desire to go through Welles filmography after seeing his The Trail and being quite disappointed with it. The ending of that film was especially botched.
One of few filmmaking auteurs, who are also brilliant actors. He often used his acting gigs to finance film projects.

I'm a big fan of The Third Man (1949). Orson's great in that!

Great, great auteur! But what is it about his fake noses? He always wore a different one.
My personal favorite Welles is F for Fake.
