Biography |
Michael Wakely wrote and directed 'The Late Show (1969)' and worked as a location scout and manager in and around Philadelphia. In the mid 60s he studied at the Philadelphia College of Art alongside Joe Dante, and towards the end of the decade at the London School of Film Technique. He made his film 'The Late Show' during his time in London. There are traces of a film he made whilst studying at LSFT in 1968 called 'Joy' but as of now it cannot be found. His birth name and date is unknown, he chose the surname Wakely (from Jimmy Wakely) after his parents divorce. |
