Karim Samy is an actor, writer and director. He graduated from the English Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University and the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing, and the third batch at the Artistic Creativity Center, Khaled Galal Workshop. During his studies, he acted and directed many theatrical performances, which participated in several international, Arab and local festivals. The most important of which was the play "Out of Text", which received numerous accolades.

He co-wrote the short film "The Door", which won several awards, including first place and Best Screenplay at the 48 Hours Film Festival. Karim directed the play Hazelqoum (2020) starring Ahmed Mekky and was a first assistant director in the play 3 Days in the Coast (2019) for Mohamed Henedy. His writing credits include season 5&6 of Theater Misr, and the play Blessed Morning (2020).

مؤلف وممثل ومخرج. خريج كلية تجارة انجليزي جامعة عين شمس والمعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية قسم التمثيل والإخراج والدفعة الثالثة بمركز الإبداع الفني ورشة خالد جلال. قام خلال دراسته بالتمثيل في أكثر من 54 عرض مسرحي وإخراج 9 عروض مسرحية والتي شاركت في عدة مهرجانات دولية وعربية ومحلية لعل أهمها مسرحية (الخروج على النص) التي حصلت على ما يقرب من 20 جائزة في مهرجانات محلية وعربية منها جائزة أفضل مخرج لكريم سامي بالمهرجان العربي زكي طليمات، كما قام بالمشاركة في تأليف الفيلم القصير (الباب) الذي حصل على عدة جوائز منها المركز الأول وأفضل سيناريو في مهرجان "مشروع أفلام 48 ساعة".

أخرج كريم سامي مسرحية (حزلقوم) لأحمد مكي وشارك كمخرج منفذ في مسرحية 3 أيام في الساحل لمحمد هنيدي. وعلى صعيد التأليف قدم الموسم الخامس والسادس من (مسرح مصر) ومسرحية (صباحية مباركة) بطولة على ربيع وأوس أوس
