Xi Chen (born in Beijing) is a Chinese animator. She successfully completed a graduate school program at Tama Art University. While still a graduate student, Chen’s film Moment of Truth (2016) was shown at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival in both the Japanese Animation Special and Stars of Students programs. Her film I want… (2017) won the Special Jury Prize at the 13th Kichijoji Animation Film Festival. In addition, she was awarded the Prize for an Outstanding Work by a Student at the 2017 Ishinomaki International Film Festival.
