Hadj Abderrahmane (in Arabic حاج عبد الرّحمان), known as Inspector Tahar (in Arabic المفتّش الطّاهر), born in the Télémly district of Algiers, Algeria, on October 12, 1940 and died on October 5, 1981 in Paris, is an actor and Algerian theater man.

Heir to Rachid Ksentini, Mohamed Touri or Don Quixote, full of resources and audacity - Hadj Abderrahmane did theater with Allel El Mouhib who was his teacher. This is how he played the monk in the play Monserrat by Emmanuel Roblès. He was parish priest in the Fusils de la Mère Carare. His social life, his childhood, his nature, his deepest feelings carried him towards drama, but the public decided otherwise and steered him, willy-nilly, towards "corrosive comedy".

This is how his adventures with his accomplice Yahia Benmabrouk alias the Apprentice of the TNA - began in 1967 with The Inspector leads the investigation carried out by Moussa Haddad with whom he will be in tandem for a long time. With his sketches, he traveled from East to West the country without counting the direct on TV. With its conservative corners, the character is very modern and stuck to social realities. He was about to shoot "The Corpse of the Estate" when death surprised him on October 5, 1981 in Paris.

Héritier de Rachid Ksentini, de Mohamed Touri ou de Don Quichotte, plein de ressources et d'audace - Hadj Abderrahmane a fait du théâtre avec Allel El Mouhib qui fut son professeur. C'est ainsi qu'il a joué le moine dans la pièce Monserrat d'Emmanuel Roblès. Il fut curé dans les Fusils de la mère Carare. Sa vie sociale, son enfance, sa nature, ses sentiments les plus profonds le portaient sur le drame mais le public en décida autrement et l'orienta, bon gré mal gré, vers le "comique corrosif".

C'est ainsi que ses aventures avec son complice Yahia Benmabrouk alias l'Apprenti du TNA - commencèrent en 1967 avec L'Inspecteur mène l'enquête réalisé par Moussa Haddad avec lequel il fera longtemps tandem. Avec ses sketchs, il a sillonné d'Est en Ouest le pays sans compter les directs à la TV. Avec ses encoignures conservatrices, le personnage est très moderne et collé aux réalités sociales. Il s'apprêtait à tourner « Le cadavre du domaine » quand la mort le surprit le 5 octobre 1981 à Paris.
