Shannen - most famous for playing Brenda Walsh in the popular 1990s Beverly Hills, 90210 t.v. series (and in subsequent sequel series) - died yesterday, age 53.

Too much bad news these last few days. Thanks for the information.
For those who don't know, Ms. Doherty's acting work extended all the way back to at least 1982, when she voiced one of the child mice in The Secret of NIMH.
