Underrated actor

Patrick Wilson has been consistently excellent in everything he's appeared in. He's that stoic, unrelentingly reliable type of actor like William Fichtner. It's a shame he often ends up in sort of fringe films that don't quite deliver on their promise. I'd like to see him trusted with some stronger scripts.

I just watched Hard Candy for the first time recently and he deserved way more credit for that performance. Absolutely fantastic. I always enjoy his work even if I didn't care much for the film (Stretch comes to mind but he was still entertaining). But I hope he gets more roles like in Lakeview Terrace or Bone Tomahawk, that's where he really shines in my opinion.

Yes. I also respected his work in Lakeview Terrace.
