Higher appeal of ppl? You mean sitting and spinning in a chair will help her legacy? it didn't help Xtine

She's kind of above this. I hope they're paying her a lot. Katy Perry is the highest paid judge out of the younger female Pop stars, whereas Mariah was one of the highest for the older generation.

Do we really think that The Voice will pay her $25 million or above?

Katy and Mariah got paid that after they lost relevancy, Ariana could beat those numbers. Also, her management knowing full well that she's at her peak right now would NOT settle for less than a record-breaking sum.

This one-season-thing could potentially be a smart business decision. Remember what catapulted Beyoncé into legend status was the mystery of her pregnancy, that VMAs performance, the Super Bowl and the tour that came right after with no new music out. Ariana may become the first relevant music artist to judge a talent show and actually benefit from it because people will see how sweet she is. Who knows, maybe this will surge in ratings and start trends where relevant acts get a one season judge role on an ongoing talent show?

All the websites are saying Ariana is getting paid $20 - $25 million

The only person I imagine getting more would be like if they got Taylor Swift.

Adele would get the most I'm sure.

Beyoncé would get the most. Then Adele probably.

and you would think that because?

Because she's Beyoncé. She's extremely elusive nowadays, never does any TV interviews etc. Adele may sell more but she's doing SNL, The Tonight Show and tons of other gigs whenever she's got new music out. Also, getting Beyoncé to HOST SNL would make HUUUUUGE headlines because she's considered pretty reclusive in comparison to others. She's a bit more exclusive compared to Adele but Adele isn't far off which is why I think she'd come right after Beyoncé.

You have to be a complete moron with an IQ of 12 to think Beyoncé would get LESS than anyone else. The woman hasn't given a TV interview in ages and her status in showbiz is undeniable. To claim ANY other female act would get more money than her is just downright delusional.

But I'm not surprised a Madonna stan thinks otherwise lol.

Were talking about Adele here, not just anyone.

I know it's Adele but Adele is far more likely to guest a talk show, morning show or SNL on any day of the week when promoting her music, which in turn makes her brand less "exclusive". She'd still get HUGE numbers but Beyoncé has managed to literally become a sort of enigma which gives her brand much more value.

You damn well know that if Beyoncé was suddenly announced as a guest on Fallon or the host of SNL sh!t loads of people would tune in lol.

Theses white folks LOVE Adele.

That’s why they gave her album of the year for that mediocre album 25 over lemonade.

Sorry Adele would destroy whatever price Beyonce gets.

Not only whites love Adele and not only blacks love Beyoncé.

And no, you clearly don't know how marketing works. Beyoncé, then Adele OR both get the same number. Anyone else is getting less. And Beyoncé is the MOST AWARDED ARTIST in Grammy history. She's as beloved by "them whites" as Adele.

Beyoncé has become an enigma, who sold what 11,000 copies of her last album in the first week. For Adele to promote is part of her brand, her jolly persona is what helps her being at the top of the charts. Beyoncé's talking skills is not what helps her brand and that's why she doesn't do it.

Yeah but will that mean she would get more money for judging the voice than Adele. Doubt it.
