Beyoncé is the most awarded artist of all time with 28 wins. Behind her is Alison Krauss (27), Aretha Franklin (18), Adele and Alicia Keys (15), Ella Fitzgerald (13) and Lady Gaga and CeCe Winans (12). Taylor Swift is close with 11 wins.

All in all, most of Beyoncé's wins are in the R&B and Hip Hop categories. She's VERY underrated in the general field for someone who has the most overall wins. Lemonade should've won AOTY and she's now kinda become the Leonardo DiCaprio of the Grammys. If she gets another nomination for AOTY the Academy could award her the trophy based on past work.
