As soon as Ella Mai's Boo'd Up blew up she had to sample Beyonce and collab with Meek Mill from her husband's firm Roc Nation
As soon as Summer blew up she had to make a Say My Name sample her album lead
The song Lizzo blew up on takes a line from Jay-Z's song
Chloe x Halle are being trotted around under Beyonce's tutelage
Megan was poached from her management and label by Jay Z and Bey had to hop on her song to get herself Number one
Normani had to sign with a Roc Nation connected manager to feel like she had a shot etc
list goes on..
Even look at the Grammys. Outside of Beyonce and her business circle above, no other fully black women were recognized. Not Ari Lennox, Not Summer Walker, not SZA, not Teyana Taylor...although a few had their best years out of luck!
I'm less concerned about Ashanti, Ciara, Christina million etc who thrived in her time, and more worried about the younger celebs who are being ignored because Beyonce fills this "token" space. It seems like you have to go through or her husband to get anywhere in the business if you're a black female artist.
Of course there are a few exceptions to the rule
Some of it is natural since Beyonce has been so dominant that people/labels will gravitate to her, her brand, her template, her music but some of that dominance is crowding out appreciation for other artists. It's not entirely her fault but it's a very bad type of "tokenism" imo.
Before y’all run to say Rihanna remember she also had to go through Beyonce husband to get a career.

I think it's more about them loving Beyoncé and using Beyoncé for further their own career. Its their choice, if it only benefits Beyoncé well then the joke is on them.
