Flopga is really lucky Ariana rescued the COVIDica era for her.
Ariana Grande - Rain on Me(Ft. Flopga)
Everyone knows Ariana gave this song a big push but you thinking it would've gone #1 had this been Alicia Keys & Ariana Grande just makes you look like a more than you already are.
When Ariana was featured on songs with complete has beens/irrelevant acts, she barely entered the Top 20 (Miley, Nicki, Troye Sivan), but the MINUTE she was featured on artists' songs that JUST had solo Top 10s, she goes #1 (Bieber and Gaga).
In other words, there's no reason as to why her past features should've been flops. "Don't Call Me Angel" came out before the movie (like that's even relevant), so there aren't any excuses as to why it flopped. The reason it DEBUTED in the Top 20 was because of Ariana but then it free-fell because NOTHING aside from her carried the song. Miley and Lana are pretty non-factors on charts and they have a hard time charting. "Dance to This" didn't even chart at all because Troye isn't commercially huge. So Ariana being on it didn't help yet again. "Bed" bombed because everyone's over Nicki and Ariana couldn't save that one either.
All this really takes is lining up all features in the history of music where ½ hasn't had a solo top 10 in ages, while the other is relevant with recent top 10s (Can't Remember to Forget You etc.) and you compare that to songs where BOTH acts had recent Top 10s (Stuck With You and Rain On Me) and there's a clear pattern. We might as well turn this around and say: Ariana hasn't had a feature smash UNTIL she collaborated with Gaga The receipts are there.
Lastly, Ariana has never been as strong in pure sales as Gaga (and vice versa in streaming), so this also isn't a coincidence that ROM could be one of Ari's biggest first weeks in pure sales, while it's on the same level as SL for Gaga. Obviously pure sales is Gaga's turf. And sales are only second to radio in terms of Hot 100 weight and points.
So Gaga's VERY MUCH a factor in the performance of the song. Saying "90 percent" is just idiotic and also shows you have no receipts to back it up other than your stupidity.
We all know Ariana helped push the song more than Gaga, but Gaga was still at least as big of a factor as Bieber was in SWU. I mean, this pretty much sums up how the GP views this collab: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmgStBva9tQ&feature=emb_title
At this point, the only people who will disagree and argue with FACTS are people who hate to see Gaga succeed. Oh, and the likes of you who are, well, idiots.

Stupid Love sold 53,000 copies in it's first week. 7 rings sold 96,000 copies in it's first week (along with it's massive streaming numbers), Thank you Next sold 81,000 copies (along with it's massive streaming numbers), Stuck with you sold 108,000 copies.

Wow. Ariana really saved the era. Congrats to Gaga, this is the first time a studio album of hers has had a #1 hit since 2011
