Both Katy & Gaga are releasing music as if they didn’t flop their last eras. The songs arent terrible but it feels like they aren’t even trying as well.
Both can come harder than that.

Her fans are acting like this is return to form. Funny, because during the Joanne era they acted like she was holy grail for leaving “generic pop”
This sounds very dated. I won’t be supporting, but congrats to her if this is a success.

It’s not her best, but it’s absolutely a return to form...maybe a little TOO safe. But it’s upbeat dance pop with crisp production, I really can’t complain.

Pop music is DEAD. The only thing charting is whatever Tik Tok song they are shoving down everyone’s throats at the moment.
Gaga released some 2018-ish pop songs on ASIB and y’all hated anyways. I’ll rather listen to something similar to Born This Way or Artpop.

Pop music was dead in 2017 but it’s been coming back. 2019 wasn’t a bad year for pop. And even though I hate when Gaga does adult contemporary P!nk sh*t, it at least charted (and went #1). I didn’t hate ARUTW.
Stupid Love is cute for an album track maybe. It’s about her doing something new not going backwards.
